[SEHA] Fwd: Thank you for volunteering with EarthCorps!

Hi everyone,
I got this email from Wafa Tafesh. Here is a recap from last week's Public Health service week. On the link attached there is a calendar with a list of volunteering events and SEHA members should check it out!

Hello Wafa,

Thank you for volunteering at Seola Park in West Seattle last Saturday! We had 43 folks come out to help allowing us to get a whole lot of work done. We removed 3,050 square feet of English Ivy, maintained 4,550 square feet of plantings, and mulched 2400 square feet! We would not have been able to make such of an impact without all of your help!

Our urban forests and wetlands depend on volunteers like you to repair habitat for the benefit of our community and wildlife. We hope that you learned something new, had fun, and noticed the significant impact volunteer work has on restoration in the Puget Sound region.

We would love to have you all out again! We just opened up a few more spaces at our North Beach project on April 13th - it would be great to see you there!  You can sign up for future events and check out other EarthCorps' volunteer opportunities at:

Want to hear about upcoming volunteer events or learn the latest news on northwest restoration? Like us on  FACEBOOK to stay connected with EarthCorps' global community.

We look forward to seeing you again soon!
