[SEHA] Opportunity to Volunteer and Network

Dear Student Environmental Health Association,

We are Seattle MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement), we are housed at the UW’s College of the Environment and work with underrepresented students (middle and high school) and encourage them to go to college.

Our STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Celebration and Competition is coming up!  This will be an opportunity for students to network with STEM professionals while giving back to the community.

We are looking for volunteers, who can participate in many ways, including: judge challenges, lead mini competitions, present demonstrations, and basic event logistics (taking pictures, serving lunch, for example).

Volunteers do not have to be STEM majors to participate, we welcome anyone who is willing to donate their time and energy.
